Presentation of the Demonstration

On March 6, 2010 at 10 a.m. on Paulista avenue, in the free standing space of MASP.

Following several requests to the state government of São Paulo and the Federal Government for the provision of scientific corroboration, some reputable research institutes such as the University of São Paulo’s (USP) Medical School, Hospital do Câncer de São Paulo (Cancer Hospital from São Paulo) declined to offer any assistance. This also occurred amongst others in Brazil as well as in foreign countries, such as Switzerland, where we had approached the First Minister with negative results. In Hungary a meeting was held within the Health Ministry but nothing came of this. A similar response came from Poland. The various institutions which were approached had both direct or indirect ways of making feasible such research, as well as the obligation to perform it. However, they gave the most diverse and vague justifications for not doing so. Consequently, we have decided to act in the capacity of a legal person. This allows us to continue our work with full public knowledge of all of our effort rather than as individuals who are subject to a barrage of evasive answers.

For these reasons, we have decided to carry out a demonstration with another request for determination by the federal and state government, in order that through their corresponding departments, a scientific analysis of the Kovacsik Method can be performed. We believe that by a demonstration and mobilization of the people, the Brazilian government will stop ignoring us and fulfill its responsibility.

Everybody is invited to take part in this demonstration on March 6, 2010, at 10 a.m., on Paulista Avenue, in the free standing space of MASP, located in São Paulo. We will be standing until the planned walk to the new Cancer Institute of the State government starts. The new Cancer institute is the responsible body for new researches and the treatment of patients. An official request to the state government through its specific agent will be handed over.
